Sorry for the lack of updates on this blog. After my daughter’s birthday in April 2021, we started the process to sale our townhouse. We packed up the townhouse, by the end of May 2021 we put our things in storage and moved in with my parents. We couldn’t of stayed and wait to have a buyer, but I am a all in, all or nothing kind of person so when I say I am going to do something, like move out, there is no turning back! We have been paying off debt and saving money for the house renovations. We knew the summer would be a great time to prepare the house and sale it. Hawaii’s housing market during the pandemic was so hot and we wanted to take advantage of that.

I was referred by my high school friend’s boyfriend’s company he works for to do our flooring and dry wall repair. My husband worked on the kitchen cabinets that had termite damage. Don’t worry there was no active infection. We treated it years ago and had professional termite monitoring since having an infestation. My husband and I painted the interior walls.

It has been quite a journey. By July 2021 our house was on the market. We had 13 offers way over asking! We accepted an offer and said goodbye to our first house, but we gain an awesome net house sale for a down payment and pay off debt!
Here are some Instagram Highlights of our move.
